We used to be the biggest predator on the planet. We have preyed upon almost every living thing, exploiting other species and mining the precious diversity of life on earth. In doing so, we have stripped ourselves of the very things that kept us safe, providing natural medicines, shelter, sanctuary, beauty and peace, while fostering a spiritual connection with nature, self and others. These are the nutrients essential for humanity, prosperity and health—the things we have plundered in the name of economic progress.
Now that we have exploited so many of our protective natural resources, we ourselves are left exposed. Now we are prey. Stripped of our humanity and disconnected from our spiritual essence, we are easy prey for the data-driven wireless technology that pervades the planet. It is an ungrounded technology, with no connection to the earth, and it is voracious. It feeds off fragile minds and egos while starving hungry hearts and souls. If we allow ourselves to get sucked into it, we too become ungrounded, losing awareness of how it affects us.
Stripped of our humanity and disconnected from our spiritual essence, we are easy prey for the data-driven wireless technology that pervades the planet.
Yet there is a deeper purpose to this growing dehumanization. There is a reason we have subconsciously allowed ourselves to be separated from our innate sense of what is healthy and life-sustaining.
What happens when we become prey? The weak and vulnerable succumb to the predators’ attacks. But the wiser, more self-aware prey adapt in some vital way, reducing the threat to their existence. They find a way to outwit or eliminate the predator to ensure that they themselves survive and can thrive.
…and that is evolution—finding a higher way. That is what we are being pushed to do now—to reclaim our hearts and our humanity in the face of a heartless, predatory technology that exploits our humanness. Artificial intelligence, cloning, global irradiation, the Internet of Things (IoT), non-stop mental stimulation, emotional manipulation and spiritual neglect… these are the hallmarks of a technological takeover. Unless the evolution of humanity drives the evolution of technology, rather than the other way around, technology will ultimately run—and ruin—our world.
Right now, technology is winning …and we are already losing. As technology evolves, so does disease. We now have more epidemics of disease, more social dysfunction, and more mental and physical illness then ever before in our world. The frequencies being beamed at us are changing the way we behave, think and feel, controlling us without us even knowing it. This is the price we pay for not evolving as humans—for having surrendered our personal autonomy, our spiritual sovereignty, our emotional integrity and our physical functionality to gadgets that promise to do it all for us.
Is there an app for that…?
With every choice we make, we have the capacity and the option to evolve to a higher plane of existence. We can collectively feed the machine that will eventually render us almost obsolete, or we can feed our hearts and spirits, broadcasting our own healthy frequencies and starving the predators that are leaching the life out of us.
There are countless ways of doing this but it’s really about reconnecting with our humanity, which is what keeps us connected to what matters most. It also keeps us connected to what is right. If we lose touch with our humanity, we lose our moral compass ...and we can’t use GPS to find our way home.
Being human is about being truly present, compassionate and wise, and making simple, healthy choices that promote our own survival. Those choices may not seem as instantly attractive or exciting as so-called ‘smart’ technologies, but that is only because we have gone so far down the rabbit hole of dehumanization. If you love sugar in your coffee and decide to give it up, you may not like the taste, at first. After a while, though, you no longer enjoy the sweetness and the healthy option becomes your preferred and enduring choice.
With every choice we make, we have the capacity and the option to evolve to a higher plane of existence.
Evolution is a choice—an active choice. We can choose long-term viability over short-term gratification; we can choose enduring spiritual connection over instant wireless connectivity; and we can choose to feed our own healthy neural networks rather than feeding data-hungry online networks that exploit our every move, friendship, purchase, weakness, need, emotion or desire.
If we are easy prey, stripped of our natural defences and dependent on external forces, the predators can thrive. Only by choosing to consciously evolve—by engaging our internal super-human capacities, our wisdom and the deeper truth of our own power—can we hope to outwit the predator that stalks us. Disguised as our friend, it seduces us with the promise of an exciting futuristic life, while scrambling our brains and weakening our bodies with its invisible irradiating waves. The stealthy wireless stalker makes us forget who we really are, feeding our needs and getting us hooked on its addictive offerings …like the predatory pimp that it is.
It is human trafficking of the most tragic and insidious kind. The only escape lies in conscious self-awareness, withdrawal from our addictions, and an active commitment to being fully human. We must return to love, engage our true nature, reclaim our personal autonomy and choose to evolve for the sake of every precious beating heart.
